Refund Policy
Why No Refunds?
RoadDXF offers a free trial with 3 exports before you ever pay anything. The free trial is designed so you can fully evaluate whether the Service meets your needs before subscribing. Because you can try the product risk-free, all paid subscriptions are final and non-refundable.
How Cancellation Works
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your account menu in the app.
- When you cancel, you keep access to your current tier's features through the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- You will not be charged again.
- At the end of your paid period, your account automatically reverts to the free tier (with its 3-exports-per-month limit).
- Your exported DXF files and any uploaded KML/KMZ files are never stored on our servers — they are generated and processed entirely in your browser, so there is nothing on our end to delete.
- Your account record (email, subscription tier, and monthly export count) is retained so you can keep using the free tier. To delete your account entirely, email support@roaddxf.com.
Downgrading Instead of Canceling
If the current tier is too expensive but you still want some paid access, consider downgrading instead of canceling. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period and give you the lower tier's limit at the lower price going forward.
What This Policy Does Not Cover
This policy applies to voluntary cancellations. It does not apply to:
- Duplicate charges. If you were accidentally billed twice for the same subscription period, contact us and we will refund the duplicate.
- Billing errors on our end. If Stripe or our system charged you incorrectly (wrong amount, wrong tier, etc.), contact us and we will fix it.
- Fraud or unauthorized charges. If you believe someone used your payment method without your authorization, contact us and also contact your card issuer.
- Consumer protection rights. If you are entitled to a refund under your local consumer protection laws (for example, the UK's Consumer Rights Act or similar), those rights are not waived by this policy.
How to Cancel
- Sign in to RoadDXF.
- Click your avatar in the top-right to open the account menu.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
- You will be taken to the Stripe Customer Portal to confirm cancellation.
If you have trouble canceling, email support@roaddxf.com and we will cancel it for you manually.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend your account pending resolution. Please email us first — most billing issues can be resolved faster than a chargeback and without impacting your account.
